With the exception of the fork blades and steerer tube, this frame is 100% stainless steel. This include the shifter bosses, cable stops, chain hanger (Columbine), brake bridge, water bottle braze-ons, front derailleur hanger (which is polished), and even the pump peg. The tubeset is Columbus METAX tubing. The lugs, crown, bottom bracket shell, and drop-outs are all Henry James stainless steel components. All the lugs, bb shell, drops and crown have been polished to a high luster, then masked off during painting. The rear seat stays and chain stay were also polished. |
