In many cases, small repairs or braze-on additions can done with very little damage to surrounding paint. Either the paint color can be matched (not always possible if there are fades or pearls on the original paint) and blended in or an accenting color can be used and faded in.

Tubing repairs and/or replacements are on a case by case basis. Please contact me for an evaluation of the repair to be performed.

Finishes

When major repairs are being performed you will most often need a new paint job. The following is a short list of typical paint applications. It's always amazed at how much nicer a freshly painted frame rides...
Paint...paint...and more paint (Spies Hecker or PPG)
One color (includes two coats of clear) *   ** $225
You say you want the decals buried in the clear (this is standard on my frames)...more work.
Note: Some tubing decals are too thick to adequately bury, I will tell you if that's the case.
$45
Additional colors, panels or fades (adder is per color)

Adder per color

$45
Spies Hecker Pearls or Candies (over base color)

Adder per color

$45
Paint matching in Spies Hecker or PPG for all the above.

Adder per color

$30-40
Masking off lugs (chromed lugs or for second color)

Adder per Lug

$20
Masking off chrome stays $30
Many Factory decals for older frames are available. CALL
Note: *  There is a $50 charge for old paint removal. I have the paint removal is done by a professional media blasting service that uses plastic particles for all but the toughest jobs and then they use crushed glass. Neither process removes metal, just the old paint, decals, and rust. I only pass along what they charge me. The $50 is the norm, but it is sometimes less.
If you are sending a frame with the paint stripped, but would like the original color matched, please leave about a 3" long area with paint on it. Please make note of size and location of any panels or key features (pictures of the original is always a good idea).

**  Frames must be delivered with all components removed or there will be an additional charge of $55 for the removal of components. All parts will be returned. However, if I'm real busy, they will be packed nicely in a boxes instead of on the frame.

All prices are subject to change without notice.
